Goedverwacht Estate is situated in the picturesque Robertson Valley on the banks of the Breede River. The area is renowned for the top quality wines it produces. The Estate has been in the Du Toit family for three generations, each generation passing the venerable art of grape growing and winemaking to the next. The farm spans a wide range of terroirs, from rolling hills with weathered shale soils, to deep alluvial soils on the banks of the river. This great diversity of soils, perfect exposure and predictable weather, ensures wines of great character and individuality. The Estate is a well run, family business with a unified focus on quality and consistency. The various accolades that these wines have received, both in South Africa and abroad, is prove of this drive for excellence.
